SAN FRANCISCO, California: Nvidia has adopted a new variable compensation plan for fiscal 2027 that sets a target cash bonus of US$4 million for Chief Executive Jensen Huang, according to a regulatory filing released on March 6.
The plan, approved by Nvidia's compensation committee on March 2, links executive cash bonuses to the company meeting specific revenue targets for the fiscal year ending January 31, 2027.
Huang received total compensation of $49.9 million in 2025, according to a regulatory filing published in May last year. Most of that pay came from stock awards valued at $38.8 million.
The filing comes after Nvidia reported stronger-than-expected results for the January quarter last month and issued a revenue forecast that exceeded Wall Street estimates.
The chipmaker's outlook reflects continued expectations that major technology companies will maintain heavy spending on artificial intelligence processors.
Nvidia said it expects fiscal first-quarter revenue of $78 billion, plus or minus two percent.
